A woman has been awarded $4,500 in compensation after she filed a federal lawsuit accusing a salon owner of making “creepily” sexual photos of her.
The woman, identified in court documents as Jane Doe, sued Michael H. Jones, owner of the St. John’s Inn in the U.S. Capitol building, on Jan. 13, 2017, alleging she was sexually assaulted in the salon’s bathroom.
The suit alleges that the photo that Jones allegedly posted of Doe in a compromising position was captioned “Dude on the toilet.”
The suit claims the photo showed Doe lying face-down on the floor, naked from the waist down and with her face obscured.
Jones did not appear in court for the lawsuit, which was filed on behalf of himself and the other salon owners.
The lawsuit says that the photos “were made to appear to be sexually explicit and were made to show a person in a position of sexual contact with the defendant.”
Jones is facing four counts of sexual assault, four counts each of indecent exposure, sexual battery and conspiracy.
Jones is expected to appear in federal court in the District of Columbia on Feb. 10.
Jones could not be reached for comment.ABC News’ Marilou Cheng contributed to this report.
