Amazons Skin Care, TikTok Skin Care clinic opening on the University of Houston campus

A clinic opened on the UH campus last week in the wake of the recent rash of campus-acquired infections, with the aim of helping people recover from the illness.

According to a news release from the University Health System, the clinic will focus on health care delivery, including the administration of antibiotics, diagnostic tests, and other health care services.

“Our goal is to give our patients the best possible care so they can be healthier,” Dr. Paul Deenan, the associate vice chancellor of the UHS Department of Public Health, said in the release.

“We’re thrilled to have the TikTek Clinic on campus to help make this possible.”

The clinic will open at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at the UHR Health Services building, 6200 UH Drive, and will be staffed by a licensed health care provider and a nurse.

The clinic is not yet open for the general public, but it’s hoped that people will come in for appointments, as well as be able to see people who are sick or in the process of being sick.
